Misc Media: Stop motion paper Rock Man

(ehhh……)

Well, here it is folks. One top notch article for the week. I slaved hours and hours writing out a Misc. Media for all of you. I may be busy playing video games and enjoying each of my 40 hour work weeks, but I cleared some time to write this baby up.

Stop motion, paper, Mega Man; these are words that best describe the video I have attached to this wonderful write up. Apparently the person that made this video made it for a multimedia course. Enjoy.

News of the Now — Surprising Robot Master for Mega Man 9

by Beeslo

(is against women’s sufferage! Women should never suffer!)

Yesterday, Capcom released the identity of one of the new robot masters from Mega Man 9. This new one was not the first to be announced, Plug Man was announced not shortly before. The big news behind this unveiling is that it isn’t a Robot Master…but in fact, a Robot Mistress. Yep, Splash Woman breaks new ground by being the first female robot Boss ever to fight Mega Man! Apparently her Laser Trident will give Mega Man the power to be able to shoot through walls at enemies including hidden walls.

Under the Knife – Street Fighter IV (ARCADE)

(his MGS4 review is coming)

Less than 48 hours ago, life was pretty normal for me: working around the house, working on the computer, working on the lawn. After 48 hours passed, I had played one of the best fighting games ever to grace the arcades. But let’s back up 48 hours…

Under the Knife- Bionic Commando Rearmed

I’m going to be blunt here; August was a shit month for gaming. With a lacklustre line up of sports titles, or Hellboy to satiate the rich and the stupid there really hasn’t been anything of value to play. However August has made up to some degree with the best consistent line up of Xbox Live Arcade titles from the likes of Braid, Bionic Commando Rearmed, and the hotly anticipated Castle Crashers (Which is released on the 27th). And while everyone’s socks have been blown off by Braid I opted to buy the revamped Capcom classic, Bionic Commando Rearmed. Keep in mind that I’ve not played the original Bionic Commando for the NES because I never actually owned one.

Right now with that out of the way, Bionic Commando Rearmed is a close remake of the original with new graphics, physics, and modes. The game looks incredibly smooth and the action is fluid, however don’t think that this is a shining gem. Oh yes this diamond is speckled with dirt and feces.

Misc. Media – Mega Man III with Lyrics

by Beeslo

(back with a vengence…and souviners!)

Hey guys! I’m back and I’m sure you’ve missed my quality articles. While I’m not exactly back in the rhythm of things just yet, I thought I’d give you all a little something, something…

I love Mega Man 3. Ask anyone and I’ll tell you flat out that Mega Man 3 is the best in the entire Mega Man franchise. Sure people always pick Mega Man 2 as the best and I don’t disagree with them when they claim its a great game. Its an awesome game, but it only set the bar so much and Mega Man 3 came along and set it so much higher where every game since has paled in comparison.

Mega Man 2 was a tremendous improvement over the original Mega Man, and Mega Man 3 added so much more awesomeness to the table making one of the very few perfect trilogies in the gaming industry in my personal opinion. Mega Man 3 had it all: terrific level design, unforgettable Robot Masters (Shadow Man counts as double and therefore helps us overlook Top Man), awesome power-ups (Rush the dog appears) and probably one of the best soundtracks ever made for a video game.

The intro music alone solidifies that fact and it is truly one of the biggest things I remember about this game. I can hum every note anywhere, hell, the song is on my phone as a ringtone (my girlfriend has the honor of having her number being identified with it). The song is just flat out awesome. But what could make it better? Lyrics.

I want to see GamerChris karaoke this one when he gets back.
