(The ability to review a game is insignificant next to the power of the force)

In the past Star Wars and RTS games just wouldn’t get along. When you would pair the two up they would act up and create an unpleasant experience for everyone. The only semi decent one out there was Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds but because of the engine and design it didn’t have to finesse and excitement of Star Wars, and aerial combat was something of a joke. However in 2006 Petroglyph studios (Veteran RTS developers, having being part or the company Westwood responsible for The Command and conquer games, as well as the Dune RTS games) created a new engine called the Alamo engine and released Star Wars: Empire at War
