Intro Bananza: Ducktales

Hey you pitiful excuse for a human being…er, I mean cartoon fans! Today we get a big fat overdose of nostalgia with the Ducktales intro. Woo-ooh! I apologize for the poor quality, this was the best I could find.
This is the granddaddy of all cartoon intros for me (well, except Pokemon). It tells you all you will ever need to know about Ducktales. A creepy old man (or duck, whatever) puts himself and his nephews in constant mortal peril in his noble quest to get more money. Go Scrooge McDuck! All the characters are presented at one point or another, catchy song, what more can you want.
I always liked Ducktales. It was kind of like Indiana Jones for a younger crowd (even the main title’s font is similar). The characters were funny, and we all loved watching Scrooge’s exploits every week. Indiana Jones is making a big comeback as you all undoubtedly know (I’ll be reviewing THAT in a couple of weeks), so I think it’s time for a Ducktales movie, complete with the original voice-over cast! With all the remakes of 80’s cartoons coming out nowadays, that actually might not be such a surprise. Either way, I’d watch it. Hey Disney! There’s a potential 7 dollars right there! Make it!
