The Lost Little Nemo Film of Hayao Miyazaki

Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland went through a decade of pre-production before it was released in theaters, which is a lot for any movie especially an animated feature. A collaboration of Japanese and American filmmakers, the project was touched by the likes of George Lucas, Ray Bradbury, Brad Bird, Chuck Jones, Chris Colombus and even Hayao Miyazaki.

Unfortunately after 10 years of development, Miyazaki went out to make other films. But before doing so, Miyazaki made a short test film showcasing his incredibly directing and his vision of Little Nemo. It makes me tear up to think that this is part of a movie that will never be made. See for yourself, this would have been a Little Nemo to remember…
